The 2nd Annual Garfield Gate2Gate 5K Run/Walk
The 5K Run/Walk event is held by the Friends of Garfield Park (FOGP). Garfield
Park is Indianapolis’ oldest city park and proceeds
from this event will benefit the FOGP as they plan and support various
programs as well as promote the use and beauty of Garfield Park to
the community. The Run/Walk
is open
to all. Elementry school children must be accompanied by a parent or
guardian. The course is accessible for strollers and wheelchairs.
Location
Garfield Park is located at 2505 Conservatory Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46203.
The Start and Finish Lines are the Sunken Gardens gates. Parking is available
at the MacAllister Center for the Performing Arts.
Event Schedule
Saturday, June 18, 20116:30am-7:45am: Late Registration & Packet Pick-up
8:00am: Start of 5K
9:15am: Awards Ceremony
Awards
First place male/female winners will win $100 each. Awards will be presented
to the top five male and female finishers in the adult and under 18 categories.
