CORPORATE AND COMMUNITY SPONSORSHIPS It is widely agreed that the presence of community parks and recreational facilities contribute substantially to a corporation’s ability to attract and retain quality employees. Garfield Park is a shining example of a community park that makes a difference in the lives of the city’s business employees and their families on the south side of Indianapolis.
Each summer, an estimated 400,000 of these individuals will visit the park to picnic, swim, stroll the Sunken Gardens or attend a scheduled public event at the MacAllister Center for the Performing Arts, the Arts Center or elsewhere in the park. Since most entertainment events held at Garfield Park are free to the public the financial support we receive from our corporate and community partners is critical. Corporate support increases overall funding for park projects, helps promote community events and assists in funding the youth programs hosted at the park.
Give 2 Garfield is the annual campaign created to inspire park visitors, package the current year’s sponsorship opportunities and promote summer programs scheduled in Garfield Park. We have a wide range of packages ranging from $1500 to $10,000, so there is sure to be a match for your organization. FOREVER BRICKS One way you can assist our fundraising is to buy a brick and have it engraved with a special message. These bricks, to be placed in the plaza between the Conservatory and the Sunken Garden, are a perfect way to honor and memorialize friends and family. This unique gift can recognize a wedding, anniversary or birthday, and makes a meaningful way to remember deceased loved ones. You may have as many bricks engraved as you wish and your $80 per brick investment is 100% tax-deductible. Bricks will be ordered and installed bi-annually.

Originally constructed in 1914, the Garfield Park Conservatory houses 10,000 square feet of plants from the world's tropics. The Sunken Garden includes three acres of European classical formal gardens. The garden's graceful historic fountains, paved walkways and benches throughout the landscape, make it a gorgeous and relaxing retreat from city life. |
Originally utilized as an open-air shelter and pool house, the center has been renovated to include a beautiful art gallery, performing arts spaces, classrooms and a literary arts library. A visitor to the GPAC can experience a hands-on arts activity in the Arts for All room as well as view local and regional artwork on display in the Main Gallery - all for no charge. |
The MacAllister Center for the Performing Arts, is an outdoor amphitheater that was built in 1922. In 1997 the amphitheater was renovated and given its current name, honoring local philanthropist Mr. P.E. MacAllister. |
In 1998 the Burrello Family Center and Aquatic Center opened, replacing the old pool and basketball court at the Community House. The outdoor Aquatic Center is open during the summer months. The Family Center contains fitness and other recreational facilities in addition to the gymnasium. |
